State lawmakers plan water quality issues

Iowa lawmakers went home without tackling water quality bills this session.  Two leaders say the effort they're committed to will remain in the conversation.  Boone Republican representative Chip Baltimore, and Oskaloosa Republican senator Ken Rozenboom say the differences in the House and Senate bills centered on the cost and rural versus urban.  Both lawmakers agree it will take reconciliation to bring both sides together on a water quality bill.  The director of environmental programs for the Iowa Soybean Association says he's confident lawmakers will get a bill past the finish line next session.  Meanwhile, Roger Wolf says Iowans must continue their good practices.
