GOP to circle back on tax reform

Republicans in the Iowa Legislature are looking to tackle an issue next year made complicated by the state budget this year. Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds said last week she wants to pass comprehensive tax reform next year, and she'll likely oversee the process as governor.  House Speaker Linda Upmeyer agreed, saying Iowa's tax system needs to be overhauled. Lagging revenue growth hampered GOP efforts to cut taxes this year, but they'll have at least one more year of complete governing control to pass their agenda.
