An organization of Ames faith communities will get together next week to discuss making the city open to refugee resettlement. Ames Interfaith Refugee Alliance spokesperson George Bellitsos says their town hall meeting represents a broad cross-section of religious and human service organizations. He says the meeting will also include representatives from state organizations that work directly with refugee resettlement. Bellitsos says legislative and Ames School District officials will also be part of the town hall. The meeting is April 25th, 5:30pm in the Ames Public Library.
