New Iowa gun bill awaits Governor's signature

The Iowa House is sending Gov. Branstad a gun rights bill.  House members voted 57-36 Thursday to pass the measure that includes a "stand your ground" provision.  It means a person can use deadly force if they believe they're in danger, while not having to retreat.  The bill also allows adults to let kids use handguns as long as they're supervised and a city or county's gun-free zones could face lawsuits.
