The Ames Police Department is still investigating a Campustown drive-by shooting Sunday morning that sent three people to the hospital and four people to jail. Cmdr. Geoff Huff says they're continuing to look into why the four suspects came to Ames from Fort Dodge. He says investigators believe the four people charged were in the car at the time of of the shooting. Terrion maxfield, 20, and Desmon Siner, 19, face attempted murder charges. They were found in a Fort Dodge hospital with gunshot wounds. Charles Smith, 20, and Traveion Henry, 21, are charged with aiding and abetting attempted murder. All four men are originally from Milwaukee. The victims of the shooting and the officers involved have not been identified.
