Someones Watching Me

Did you ever get the feeling someone was watching you, well I get it at least once a year when it comes to a student job shadowing me. The scrutiny is more terrifying than a call to the supervisors office ( I think). Those young eyes scrutinizing your every move as at least on this day you strive for perfection. You do your best to keep from sweating under the tension and then come the questions, I think it must be close to the feeling of being water boarded. You of course answer them truthfully but also include a little embellishment, pretty much to convince them the World spins because of you. When they leave you hope you have helped the achieve their task but always wonder whether you have raised their interest or dissuaded them into ever going into the wonderful, awe inspiring world of broadcasting. One thing for sure, you at least got them out of a day of school.
