Sombrero or Derby

Happy Cinco de Mayo and Kentucky Derby Weekend both actually take second place to my son Shadow's Birthday. Every year he and I buy our fishing licenses and head out for a father and son day but this year I may have to beg a little time from him as another tradition needs to be filled. My late brother Dave always had me and my older brother Phil meet and place our Derby bets, we usually have a small discussion on favorites and bet the way we want to anyway. So it's off to work I go, meet my son afterward, arrange to rendezvous with my brother, work in some fishing and finish with a my rousing version of a flamenco type Mexican Hat Dance (that's no way to kill roaches!) The rest of the weekend I'll need to rest. Derby Picks: Classic Empire, Always Dreaming and McCracken, one long shot yet to be chosen.
