You know when you work across from someone for 18 years and you become a bit blase about the talent they bring to the microphone each day. Not so with Mr. Trent Rice ( a name he insists I use off air) our News Director, each day I'm appreciative for a partner who is consistently conscientious of the importance his job means in keeping our listeners informed. More importantly his willingness to put up with with the cantankerous old curmudgeon who challenges his patience each day. Congratulations my friend on receiving the the IBNA "Jack Shelley" Award for excellence, well deserved.
