Three Dead In Northern Iowa Crash

(Wright County, IA) -- Three people are dead after a northern Iowa crash between a car and a semi. The Iowa State Patrol says a semi collided with a car just after 7 a.m. Monday morning in rural Wright County.

The ISP says the crash happened on Hancock Avenue and 160th Street in Holmes, Iowa, located between Clarion and Goldfield.

The car's driver has been identified as 27-year-old Jorge Lopez of Britt, Iowa. The I-S-P has not released the names of the two passengers who died. The truck driver, 20-year-old Braxton Murphy of Eldora, suffered minor injuries.
