DMACC Delays Resuming Online Classes After Cybersecurity Incident

(Ankeny, Iowa) -- Des Moines Area Community College is waiting at least one more day before resuming online classes, following a cybersecurity incident that shut down the school's network earlier this month.

A statement on the DMACC website says the school was hoping to have online classes resume today, but the network isn't ready due to unforeseen delays. The cybersecurity issue forced the shutdown of DMACC's network on June 4th. In-person classes have resumed as scheduled, and the school says it will let students know when the online network has been fully restored.
