**DEVELOPING** A second night of protests in Des Moines

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Saturday evening brings another night of protests in downtown Des Moines.

The group formed at about 7:00 p.m. outside Des Moines Police Headquarters.

After a handful of speeches and chanting, the group started marching down Walnut St.

A peaceful protest Saturday afternoon saw hundreds of people march through downtown Des Moines chanting the names of victims who lost their lives to police brutality.

Friday saw peaceful protests early in the evening descend into violence later in the night with business windows smashed, cars damaged, and dozens of arrests.

UPDATE 10:00PM

Police have used tear gas to try and disperse the crowd after some protesters started breaking windows in the Polk County Courthouse.
