White Supremacist Manifesto Reportedly Sent To Syracuse University Students

NCAA FOOTBALL: SEP 12 Wake Forest at Syracuse

Officials at Syracuse University are investigating reports that somebody tried to send a "white supremacist manifesto" to students at the Bird Library. Authorities believe somebody attempted to share the document using AirDrop, which can be used to send files or photos directly to a person's iPhone. The school contacted the New York State Police and the FBI, though there are no reports that any students actually received a copy of the manifesto.

According to the independently run school newspaper The Daily Orange, the manifesto was the same one written by the suspect accused of committing a massacre at two mosques in New Zealand. A link to the document was also posted on a Greekrank.com forum.

This is the latest incident of racism on the campus in recent weeks. The school suspended all fraternity activities on campus following numerous reported incidents of racism. After the suspensions were announced, students found racist graffiti inside a residence hall. In total, there have been 11 hate crimes reported since November 7.

Students have been engaged in a week-long protest against the school for their inadequate reaction to the incidents.
