DES MOINES, Iowa - The Winter Weather Advisory posted Friday has now been extended and expanded for Saturday. The iHeartMedia news radio stations across Iowa have weather information and road conditions.
Western Iowa the Winter Weather Advisory includes the Council Bluffs, Omaha area to the south until 6:00 p.m. For weather and road information in Western Iowa listen to AM 1110 KFAB.
Central Iowa the advisory is now expanded to the north to include the Des Moines metro area and now also Ames and Marshalltown, all the way to the south border of the state until 6:00 p.m. For Central Iowa weather and road information listen to AM 1040 WHO, and in Ames AM 1430 KASI.
Eastern Iowa the Winter Weather Advisory now also includes Cedar Rapids, and east and south to the state borders, until 9:00 p.m. For weather and traffic information today in Eastern Iowa, listen to AM 600 WMT.
