Iowa State's Campbell named Big 12 Co-Coach of Year, again

The Big 12 Conference has once again named Iowa State University Football Coach Matt Campbell Co-Coach of the year.  He shares the honor with Lincoln Riley of the University of Oklahoma.  Campbell won the honor in 2017 as well.

ISU is tied for 3rd place in the Big 12, and with a conference record of 6-3, is enjoying it's best conference record in 40 years.  The Cyclones overall record is 7-4 this season.   The final game is this Saturday, December 1st against the Drake University Bulldogs.   The game is a replacement for the Cyclone season opener, which was cancelled by severe weather.

ISU is bowl eligible for the second year in a row, they should learn their bowl destination Sunday.

The Cyclones are currently No. 23 in the College Football Playoff ranking and No. 24 in the Associated Press poll.
