Iowa State University says a large gift reported earlier this year, will result in a new endowment of $145 million to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. the endowment is made possible through a gift from an anonymous donor couple. The permanent endowment will generate between $5 and $6 million each year on a perpetual basis for Iowa State's largest college.
