The Iowa State Fair is poised to break its all-time attendance record set just two years ago. Going into Sunday 1,035,000 people had attended the fair, which already beat 2016's attendance mark. That left the 2015 record of slightly more than 1.1 million people within reach. If the final day was anything like last Sunday when 112,000 people walked through the gates, the record will fall.
