I know it's St. Patricks Day but being a former bar owner you might be surprised at some of the insanity displayed by those who imbibe a little too much to honor the beloved Saint of the Emerald Isle. In Ireland this is celebrated as a religious holiday with nowhere near the drunkeness that is associated here. The phrase that pays is "I'm Irish until I pass out!" Thousands of people putting their hearts and souls into the singing of "Danny Boy" surrounded by folks brought to tears by their renditions as they prove they don't know the words and are definitely not Irish Tenors. There will be plenty of folks celebrating out of the past year of boredom and confinement but do so intelligently. Eat, drink and most of all be responsible so that St. Patricks continues to bring us joy for years to come...HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!
