Mel brought on Kathy Svec to ask her what was on it's way to the Ames Historical Society. Kathy responded, giving an array of events to look back and reflect on the Women's Rights Movement. Mel and Kathy discussed both the effects of the movement and the 19th amendment had on women in their time, and how much it's changed the culture today. Mel even touched upon a few instances of seeing the change in culture throughout his own life, with his father and mother, and with his classmates in college.
