Mother Nature is showing her quick change artistry this month. We've gone from balmy summer temps at the beginning to what appears to be our first hint of winter this weekend and we're not even halfway through October. That's right, frost, snow flurries and just plain snow can be expected in parts of our states. Now I know we love the 4 seasons, that's why we live here but can we at least finish one before we start another? I love the colors of fall but the shine less brightly under the cover of snow. the thought of covering our delicate plants this early is bad enough without the thought of covering our delicate but rugged selves. My motorcycle does not have snow tires for good reason and I will not place it in hibernation just yet and I'm confident Mother Nature will discover the errors of her ways and work hard to get back in our graces but then again she is best known for doing what she wants when she wants and we'll just have to live with it.
