The chief executive officer of Ames-based Youth and Shelter Services says the organization is still looking for permenant housing options for residents and staff members displaced by a fire last month at a residential treatment facility. Andrew Allen says those who lived in the Seven-12 House lost almost everything. He says they've received about $12,000 in cash donations so far, and have set up a wish list page on Amazon.com. Allen says, before the fire, YSS was doing some long-term planning to replace the Seven-12 House. He says the fire has added urgency to those conversations.
