Former Iowa Governor Robert Ray will lie in state in the capitol rotunda on Thursday. There will be a public visitation from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. will allow iowans to pay their final respects. Officials are asking attendees to come starting at 4:00 p.m. so they can be screened by security. First Christian Church in Des Moines will host Ray's funeral service on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Ray died Sunday at the age of 89.
