South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy is concerned about Republicans not winning the popular vote in the race for president. During his appearance at Iowa Republican senator Joni Rrnst's annual "Roast and Ride" event Saturday in Boone County, Gowdy said Republicans should ask themselves questions about how to perform better when they go before voters. The race for Iowa governor also took center stage as Ernst and Gov. Kim Reynolds both took shots at Democrat Fred Hubbell.
