Story County's Democrat county attorney has endorsed the re-election of a Republican county supervisor. In a news release, County Attorney Jessica Reynolds backed Supervisor Rick Sanders, listing his accomplishments during eight years in office, including balancing the county's budget, funding social services, and improving communication across the various departments of county government. Sanders, along with incumbent Republican Marty Chitty moved to the general election after Tuesday's primaries. Two Democrats, Linda Murken and Joshua Opperman will also vie for those seats.
