ISU adjust to state funds loss

The president of Iowa State University says the school has made the best of a bad situation as it adjusts to a nearly $5.5 million mid-year deappropriation. Dr. Wendy Wintersteen tells KASI News outside fundraising by the ISU Foundation helpled ease the pain of losing state funds. She says a 3.8 percent tutiton increase for the next school year still makes Iowa State among the most affordable colleges of its size.
