Republicans in the Iowa House rolled out their tax plan with days to go in this year's legislative session. The plan calls for $139 million cut next year that more than doubles to nearly $300 million in 2020. House Republicans say their plan would give $1.3 billion back to Iowans by 2023. Senate Republicans have already passed their own tax plan that would, among other things, lower the top tax rate to 6.3 percent for a person making over $75,000.
