The ballot is set for June's primary election in Story County after a filing deadline this week. Two Democrats and two Republicans will run for a pair of Supervisors seats. Republican incumbents Rick Sanders and Martin Chitty will run against Democrats Linda Murken from Gilbert and Joshua Opperman from Ames. Incumbent Republican County Treasurer Renee Twedt, will run against Democrat Ted Rassmusson from Colo. Two incumbent office holders, Republican County Recorder Stacie Herridge, and Democrat County Attorney Jessica Reynolds are running unopposed.
