House passes anti-"lunch shaming" bill

Members of the Iowa House worked to put an end to so-called "lunch shaming."  They voted unanimously to pass a bill Thursday barring school districts from doing things that could be classified as lunch shaming--including getting rid of meals, creating a list with the names of students who are in debt, putting a wristband on a student, and cutting off access to the student's afterschool program.  The bill now goes the Senate.
