An Iowa House committee advanced a bill that slashes income taxes in Iowa by more than $1.1 billion over six years and restructures the state sales tax. The first round of approval of the proposal from Gov. Reynolds came on Thursday. Iowa Democrats say the plan will wipe out too much tax revenue. The Senate passed it's version of the tax cut bill on Wednesday.
