Here's the link to the Pew Research survey on Christmas.  While I certainly hope you'll read the whole thing, here are some big take-aways:

--90 percent of those surveyed say they celebrate Christmas

--80 percent of those who say they celebrate the holiday AREN'T CHRISTIANS

--68 percent say they view Christmas as more of a cultural holiday (think Thanksgiving) than a religious holiday. 

On a related note to that last point, most people say they celebrate Christmas in much the same way they celebrated it as kids.  If you think about it, this is where Christmas transitions from a strictly religious holiday to more of a secular celebration.  You know, where cultures are formed...
