Well once again the emergency sirens sounded and I'm always curious as to how folks reacted. I hope they sought shelter and that this is a learned reaction from practicing when tests are given. It came at a time of night when most of us are headed to bed and I know all too often some of us have slept through the overnight warnings. In my capacity as a broadcaster I head to the Station along with Trent to keep folks updated with timely information while leaving my family in the shelter. It's not easy but we know it's what has to be done it's the same when my wife is called out on Police emergencies it's our responsibility to accept what's expected of us. Please practice for these situations, let every member of your family know what responsibilities they have, that it will not always be possible to be together during these emergencies but hopefully once they have passed you will all reunite unharmed.
