Self Imposed Humiliation

It's not as if I haven't seen this before, a smitten young lad wants to display his intentions to his beloved on top of a dugout in front of thousands of fans at a baseball game. The crowd grows quiet, he falls to one knee pulls out the ring and speaks the words"Will you Marry Me!" She is in shock, looks him in his glistening eyes, shakes her head and says"NO!!" and runs off into the stands with him running close behind. All this takes place on the Big Screen in the stadium. Romance is a touchy and personal thing, timing is so important. Wanting to declare your love to the world is not as important as making sure you have your partners love in return. The humiliation lasts a long time. Forgive me Ann Landers and Dear Abby, just an observation.

It won't be long before the smell of tailgating fills the air and Iowa State fans will flock to a sold out stadium to watch their Cyclones. 1430 KASI will be there broadcasting 4 hours before kickoff with the Cyclone Gameday Show. It's your first chance to get updated on the team and their opponents but where else but on the home town Station of the Cyclones 1430 KASI.
