Does wiser necessarily go with older and if so should it be a natural progression? I think not! I have been blessed with what many refer to as a "quick wit" and through the years, unlike parts of my body, it has not diminished. The main thing I keep in mind is who I aim at and will they attempt a retaliation. Though some of my inferences may sound cruel on the surface they are never met to be crippling and are always intended to eventually include the target in the laughter. I must admit in this politically correct world, that my material is somewhat limited and the consequences more severe. Yet I persist anytime I'm given an opening or straight line. I think of it as self defense, strike before stricken. I am truly addicted to making people smile and not taking life to seriously and although I am more often taken to task more often, after this many years please don't expect a lot of change. The world has become much to serious, we need to learn how to have more fun and share it with others.
