I NEVER THOUGHT I...

Living to my ripe old age I've seen a lot of things I never thought I would, some amazing, some distressing and some a combination of both. I could fill a book and I'm sure the many generations before me felt the same, like Adam learning of the opposite sex, Oog who first experienced fire, Columbus and a round earth, Richard Trevithick and the first horseless carriage, Shivkar Talpade who flew 8 years before Wilbur and Orville, 2 World Wars, Nuclear Power, Space Travel etc... The one thing I never thought would be seen was the malicious attempt and attack on our nations capitol. The lining of troops along the streets of D.C. to protect and preserve the Seat of Democracy from the conspiratorial and misguided minds of our fellow Americans. I can only pray in the next few months I see a mending and commonality of our political ambitions and an end to the solitude and suffering brought on by the pandemic.
