Seven months into covid 19 and we have begun to accept the abnormal normal for the most part. Masks seem to still carry an ominous and may I say ridiculous perceived threat to the Constitution. For those who stand strong in their "legal" rights may I suggest you quit wearing your seatbelts, they too are proven to save lives. The daily ritual for me as I leave, on rare occasion, is glasses, wallet, car keys and mask. The mask has also diverted our initial assessment of people, are they wearing one plus the ever popular "Keep your distance". Our President, who fought the value of wearing them has now become the unwilling "Poster Child" for doing so. Don't get me wrong, I don't like masks but I do like living so if wearing one makes me even the slightest bit less susceptible call me "Batman".
