Mother Nature is indeed a vengeful soul allowing me a wonderful week of warmth, beaches and fun in Florida only to smack me in the face with the biggest snow "Thus Far" this winter. I actually had to have my wife show me which end of the shovel is supposed to scrape the snow away. Snow blower gets it's first workout of the season when I get home. Despite this rude welcome it's great to be back where I belong and know that I will not be alone in lamenting the sting of winter but also realize it's the reason I love life in Iowa.
