The National Weather Service says 19 tornadoes hit the state of Iowa on July 19th. Five tornadoes that were rated EF-0 were added to the list. The weather service says a high-resolution satellite was used to identify the additional twisters. The most powerful storms that hit Iowa on the 19th were in Pella and Marshalltown as both saw EF-3 tornadoes.
