Hubbell leads fund raising, Wilburn out of cash

Democrat candidate for Iowa governor Fred Hubbell leads the other candidates in the race in the latest fundraising report.  It showed Hubbell raised $3 million, mostly through self-funding, while Republican governor Kim Reynolds raised $1.3 million.  The news wasn't all good for Democrats as former Iowa City mayor Ross Wilburn reported a negative campaign balance of more than $500.  Despite Hubbell's fundraising lead so far this year, Reynolds has more than $4 million in cash on hand, which is more than any other candidate.
