Updated statistics from the Iowa Department of Public Health show deaths from the flu or flu-related illnesses are triple the rate of a year ago. The department says the flu has killed 157 people in iowa since October. This time last year there were 50 deaths. Officials say it's not too late to get a flu vaccine, as cases could be reported into April.
