In this politically correct atmosphere it’s almost a crime to say you’re punishing your kids. Some folks see the swinging of a hickory stick others see a young lady imprisoned long enough that she must grow her hair to escape. From now on let’s update to the term “Sanction”. It has a softer sound and seems to offer hope for all parties concerned. The violators know exactly what they need to do to get back in good graces, if they don’t you can add more sanctions. The only problem is that often times they don’t work. As I often thought when I was grounded, if you can’t use the door there’s always the window.
