Ames police say one person was injured during a drive-by shooting late Monday night. The shooting happened just after 11:00 p.m. at 504 Stanton Ave. in Campustown. When officers arrived, they found an woman with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Witnesses say the shooter, in a dark colored sedan, drove northbound on Stanton Ave. Police blocked off two block around the shooting area immediately after it happened. The victim’s name has not been released as an investigation continues.
