ISU Police investigate campus death

Iowa State University Police are investigating the death of a student on campus. Authorities say Brendan Numedahl, 19, was found by his roomate tuesday night unresponisve and not breathing in their room in Wallace Hall. Numedahl was pronounced dead shortly after first responders arrived. Police say a previous medical condition leads them to believe the cause of death was natural and foul play isn't suspected. A medical examiner's report will determine the exact cause. The Iowa State directory lists Numedahl as a freshman in mechanical engineering.
