Hundreds of Iowans could lose their jobs if a plan in the US House of Representatives becomes a reality. It would cut wind energy tax credits from $24 per megawatt hour to $15. MidAmerican Energy officials say if the plan passes, at least 400 jobs would be eliminated in Iowa. Passage of the plan could also affect the company's plans to build renewable energy projects in the state.
