An Ames school board candidate wants more information before making a decision about whether to support the construction of a new high school. Gina Perez says the public should hear more about the district's reasoning for a new building. She says she needs more "advertisement" from administrators on the proposal. Perez will appear on the Sept. 12th ballot with fellow newcomers Monic Benkin, Jamet Colton, and incumbent Tim Rasmussen. Voters will chose three school board members.
