Iowa's drought conditions easing

The drought situation in Iowa is getting better even though some parts of the state still need rain.  The latest US Drought Monitor Report released says 44-percent of the state no longer faces any drought.  That compares to two-percent of the state experiencing extreme drought conditions.  The report also says fewer people are experiencing abnormally dry conditions this week in addition to lower moderate and severe drought numbers.
