The 2020 presidential election is more than three years away, but one candidate is getting a head start on the field. Maryland Democrat Congressman John Delaney will spend some time at the Iowa State Fair later this month as he introduces himself to voters. Delaney announced his bid for the presidency a week ago. He represents Maryland's 6th Congressional District. The fair starts August 10th.
