Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley is introducing a bill aimed at cannabidiol and marijuana research. The bill, co-sponsored by California Democrat Dianne Feinstein allows the two substances to be researched by the federal government so their benefits can be established. Grassley talked about children suffering from epilepsy in his statement supporting the bill. Iowa lawmakers passed a measure this year expanding the number of conditions that can be treated with medical cannabis.
