The Iowa Insurance Division is bringing a statewide fraud prevention program to Ames next month. Insurance Commissioner Doug Ommen tells KASI News the Iowa Fraud Fighters' mission to protect investment funds is an ongoing, ever-changing effort. He says senior citizens looking for a better return on thier retirement investments are a popular target for scam artists. The Iowa Fraud Fighters Ames event is june 13th from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Quality Inn-Starlite Village hotel.
