Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley is giving a clearer timeline regarding the future of Governor Branstad and Lt. Gov Kim Reynolds. Grassley tweeted Tuesday that Branstad is set to be voted on as the new ambassador to China on Monday. Grassley said that means Reynolds "can become [[ governor ]] sometime [[ next ]] week." Grassley expressed frustration with Senate Democrats for forcing a cloture vote on Branstad's nomination before allowing a confirmation vote.
