Statehouse GOP unveils budget plan

Statehouse Republicans want the state to spend less money in the next fiscal year.  GOP leaders Wednesday outlined a budget proposal that calls for spending nearly $14 million less than the current fiscal year.  Budget leaders said they want to be careful with state spending due to a-quarter-billion-dollar deficit they faced this session.  Lawmakers also said they're prioritizing education funding while many state agencies will see a budget cut.
