Democrat Kim Weaver is looking for a rematch with Iowa Republican congressman Steve King. Weaver announced Sunday on MSNBC she's running again to represent Iowa's 4th District after losing to King last November. She began raising money this month after King praised a Dutch prime minister candidate by saying "demographics are our destiny. we can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies." Weaver got almost 39-percent of the vote back in November. Iowa State University political science professor Dirk Deam is also exploring a run for the 4th District Democrat nomination.
